Tastyfrutti’s suppliers strictly adhere to FDA, USDA and environmental guidelines promoting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and quality assurance.
Our exporters and growers have consolidated international food safety requirements, incorporating a program of recorded systematic procedures to grow high-quality, safe fruit in a sustainable way. Tastyfrutti endorses the Socially Accountable Farm Employers (SAFE) program for all of our producers of fresh fruit products. Tastyfrutti is compliant with the FDA Food Safety Management Act (FSMA).
A significant aspect of Tastyfrutti’s safety policy includes the certification of all operational personnel by the American Food Safety Institute. All cold-storage facilities are food safety and HACCP certified by Primus Labs.
Tastyfrutti is an advocate of the Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) spearheaded by the United Fresh Produce Association, PMA and CPMA. Presently, we are compliant with the milestones set forth in the PTI Action Plan.

Tastyfrutti’s cold-storage operations utilize advanced computer systems with bar code and scanning software specifically designed for warehousing and distribution.
Proven inventory management systems provide cost-efficient storage control and reliable customer service. Our operational team is certified in food-safety practices and specializes in all aspects of port and cold-storage operations.
Tastyfrutti’s cold-storage facilities are located at the port, minutes away from major interstate highways accessing markets throughout North America. Our storages are equipped with the following features:

- Humidity-regulated refrigeration
